Урок посвящен воспитанию уважительного отношения к хобби своих одноклассников.

Воспитательный аспект:

- развитие умений работать в группе, формирование терпимого отношения и уважения мнения другого человека, воспитывать интерес к изучению английского языка, к культуре и традициям страны изучаемого языка, воспитание бережного отношения к семейным традициям.

Развивающий аспект:

- развитие творческих способностей учащихся, развитие оперативной памяти, способности к догадке, к сравнению, развитие способности к выбору выражений, адекватных ситуаций общения;

- развитие способности к догадке.

Учебный аспект: 

- развитие речевых умений (говорить, писать, общаться);

- развитие мышления и творческих способностей обучающихся, их познавательной активности и кругозора; совершенствование лексических и аудитивных навыков по теме «Хобби».

Сопутствующая задача:

- скрытый контроль уровня сформированности речевых умений.

Цели урока:

  • Практиковаться в монологическом высказывании.
  • Развивать умение высказываться целостно.
  • Активизировать лексические навыки говорения, сформированные на предыдущих уроках на базе материала о любимых занятиях.
  • Контроль уровня сформированности знаний и речевых умений.

Ход урока

1. Начало урока

T: Good morning.

Cl.: Morning.

T.: How are you?

Cl.: I’m fine ,thank you. And you?

T.: Fine, too. I am glad to see you.

Cl.: We are glad to see you too.

B.: What is the weather like today? Is the sky blue or grey? Does the sun shine?

T: The topic of our lesson is How to spend free time? Говоря о свободном времени, нельзя не поговорить о хобби.

T: So, there are a lot of hobbies. Am I right? Answer my questions, please!

It was a good job! We have already spoken a lot about different kinds of hobbies. All of you have interesting hobbies. And now I want you to praise your hobby, to make some advertisment to it.

But it’s a pity that you don’t have much time for them as you are very busy with your studies. When do you have more time for your hobbies?

- Of course, during your holidays! Today we’ll  speak about the ways of spending them.

 It goes without saying holidays are the best time for travelling. Now I would like to give the floor to Margaret. You have already met her. Today she will tell you how she spent her last summer holidays.

 You have cards with some questions. Your task is to listen to Margaret attentively and choose the right answers.

A. As for me, I prefer going to the country on holidays. Almost every summer I visit my grandmother I stay in the country for about a month. There I enjoy fresh air, pleasant views of the surrounding nature. I help my grandma about home and in the garden. I water plants, go fishing and camping with my friends and gather berries in the forest.

 

B. All the people enjoy summer holidays very much. They like to travel during their summer holidays. Some people go abroad to see new countries, some people prefer to go to the country-side to enjoy country-life far from the noise of big cities. Some people like to spend their holidays in cities, visiting theatres, museums and going sightseeing. But a great number of people go to the seaside in summer.

 

C. I'd like to tell you about my summer holidays I spent in Sochi. It was just three years ago. My parents and I were sitting in the living-room discussing our plans for the summer holidays. My father suggested that we should go to Sochi. On hearing that I jumped up with joy and said it was a wonderful idea. My mother wasn't against the idea either. So one summer morning we started for our journey to Sochi.

 

D. I am fond of English and every holidays I try to go to a language camp where I can have a rest, improve my speaking English and have fun. I spent my last winter holidays in Luga in the camp.
There were about 70 boys and girls there. We lived in comfortable double rooms.
Every day we woke up early, rode horses, attended English classes, a theatrical circle and a dancing club. I liked English classes most of all. Our teachers were native speakers and we had a chance to talk to them in English. We practiced English through different situations, games and songs. It helped me to enrich my vocabulary.

 

E. In July I went abroad, namely, to Finland with my parents and a little sister. We were touring by car around the country, so we could see a lot of new places. I had a good time in this country!
