Урок практического применения знаний и умений. УМК «Spotlight».

Цели:

Воспитательные: обеспечить условия для воспитания положительного интереса к изучаемому предмету, обеспечить условия по формированию сознательной дисциплины и норм поведения учащихся при работе в команде.

Развивающие: выработка умений самостоятельного применения знаний, осуществление переноса их в новые условия; обеспечить условия для развития умений грамотно, четко и точно выражать свои мысли.

Практические: способствовать совершенствованию грамматических навыков употребления английских времен, развитию навыков аудирования, монологической и диалогической речи.

Ход урока

1.Организационный момент

Good morning, dear students! We are very glad to see you today.

Today we are having an unusual lesson. We are going to work in teams, play a game, listen to music, interview and do some other things.

 

2.Речевая разминка

But first, answer some questions, please.

  • How are you feeling today?
  • What do you prefer doing in your spare time?
  • What have you done today?
  • What have you been doing all the morning?
  • Where did you travel last summer?
  • What had you done before the school year began?
  • What were you doing at 7 o’clock yesterday evening?
  • What will you be doing at 3 o’clock tomorrow?
  • What will you have done by the end of the lesson?

 

3.Постановка темы урока

And now we want you to listen to some songs. Please, pay attention to the grammar used in them and name the rules.

So, after you have recognized these rules, can you say what the topic of our lesson is?

 

4.Актуализация знаний (игра)

We have prepared a board game for you. You are divided into two groups, which will play in turn. There are four types of tasks. In your turn you have to roll the dice and take a card of the same colour. If the dice shows white, you can choose a task yourselves. Then you fulfil the task and roll again.  Each move lasts until the bomb goes off. The time can be different, from 10 seconds to one minute. So, you will try your luck. Let’s begin!

 

5.Комплексное применение знаний в типовых и измененных ситуациях

Inerview

Now you will have another task and we need one person from each team. This person will have to interview the members of the other team and then share the received information with his or her team. After that another member will tell us what you have found out.

What tense do we use to speak about past events? One team will collect information about interesting things you did last year.

What tense is used to describe life experience? The other team will get information about different experiences.

Who will be the interviewers? Come here and choose your task. You have 5 minutes.

 

Correction of mistakes

You became interviewers for a while and now you have a chance to try yourselves as teachers checking homework. Here are works of not very diligent students. Look at them, correct the mistakes and present us with the result.

Description of a picture

It is time for the last task. What tenses do we use for description of a picture?

Please, look at the board, choose a picture and describe it. Who will try?

Your home task is to describe any the other two pictures.
